Sea-Ward On The Ocean Front

Sea-Ward on the Ocean Front is a guest house located on a quiet street in the Pine Point community of Scarborough, Maine. Here you can watch and listen to the sea from our porches or lawn, or walk down a short path through wild roses, scrub pines and beach grasses to miles of uncrowded soft, sandy beach.

Accommodations include one cottage and seven spacious guest rooms with queen or twin beds. Each room has a private bathroom with shower, microwave, and refrigerator. The cottage has a full kitchen, bathroom with shower and sleeps six. Most rooms have ocean views. We do not have in-room phones or televisions, but a phone is always available for guest use. For the health and safety of all guests, smoking and pets are not allowed.

The area has many casual and fine restaurants, shops, and activities. Just fifteen minutes away you can experience the charm of Portland's Old Port and cultural attractions.  You are 15 minutes away from Portland Jetport and 2 miles from the Old Orchard Amtrak station. Shop at the Maine Mall, factory outlets in Kittery or Freeport, or visit world-famous L.L. Bean. The new Cabelas is 5 miles away. Visit Pine Point's own Bayley's Lobster Pound and enjoy fresh Maine lobster, or walk over to our neighbor and order from his morning catch. Take the kids to nearby amusement parks, on an exciting whale watch, or a cruise on Saco or Casco Bays. Or, 5 minutes away, you can bird watch or canoe at the Audubon Nature Center in Maine's largest salt-water marsh.  The Eastern Trail foot and bike path crosses the marsh right next to it.
